About The Event
Join us for a full day of engaging, hands-on STEM learning in this exciting youth workshop that combines robotics, coding, and engineering design. Bits & Bots is designed to introduce students to the world of physical computing using Micro:bit microcontrollers and LEGO Spike Prime robotics kits in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Throughout the day, participants will engage in a range of structured activities that progressively build their understanding of core STEM concepts such as programming logic, sensor integration, mechanical engineering, and iterative problem-solving. Working both independently and collaboratively in teams, students will design, build, and code functional systems that respond to real-world challenges.
From programming a digital game with Micro:bit to designing and navigating autonomous robots through obstacle courses with Spike Prime, this workshop offers a rich opportunity to explore both the creative and technical aspects of STEM. Participants will also develop essential skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation, while…
